Frequently asked questions
What do I need to play?
- Apple Vision Pro with visionOS 27 or later.
- Hand tracking allowed for PawMart (the App asks the first time you play).
- A little clear space within arm’s reach. You play in one spot behind the counter and never need to walk around.
PawMart is free, with no ads and no in-app purchases.
My hands aren’t working in the game
- Check that hand tracking is allowed: Settings → Privacy & Security → Hand Tracking, then turn on PawMart.
- Play in a well-lit room and keep your hands in front of you, where the headset can see them.
- Gloves, long sleeves over your hands or holding other objects can confuse tracking.
- If tracking still feels off, try Settings → Eyes & Hands → Redo Hand Setup.
Tips for handling things in the shop
- Reach out and close your hand around an item to pick it up; open your hand to let it go.
- Scan one item at a time: hold it in your hand and turn its barcode sticker to the scanner’s beam.
- Pull the cash drawer open by its handle, take the notes you need, and hand the change over or leave it on the change tray.
- Slow, deliberate movements work best. If something drops, you can pick it up again.
How do I save my game?
You don’t need to: there is no save button. PawMart saves itself at every safe moment: in the morning, after each finished sale, at closing time, while you plan the evening, and whenever you leave the App.
When you come back, choose Continue to pick up where you left off. If you left in the middle of a sale, the shop opens again at the last quiet moment just before it, and any customers who were still shopping come back after the break.
What does “New shop” do?
New shop starts again from day one with a fresh shop. After that, Continue carries on with the new shop, so only choose it when you really want to start over.
Can I keep my shop on another Apple Vision Pro?
Yes, with Game Center. If you are signed in to Game Center and iCloud Drive is on, PawMart also saves a copy of your progress to your iCloud. On another Apple Vision Pro signed in to the same account, the start screen says it found your shop in Game Center (iCloud), and Continue loads whichever copy is furthest along.
Without Game Center or iCloud Drive, everything still works; your progress just stays on that one headset.
Leaderboards and achievements
Signing in to Game Center is optional. When you are signed in, PawMart posts your total profit, best day, days run and customers served to Game Center leaderboards after each day, and unlocks achievements as your shop grows. You can open the Game Center dashboard from the start screen.
How do I switch between English, Chinese and Japanese?
PawMart follows your device’s language order. To play in English, Simplified Chinese or Japanese, put your chosen language first in Settings → General → Language & Region, or choose a language for PawMart alone in its page in the Settings app.
How do I talk with the animals?
Allow microphone access when asked. Animals near you in the shop listen automatically; pause after a sentence to let them answer. The microphone pauses while they reply and while the app is inactive. Replies appear in their bubbles with locally synthesized animal sounds.
Conversation needs Apple Intelligence and on-device speech recognition for the app's selected language. The game shows a translated message if a model or language is unavailable. A first language download needs an internet connection; your conversation stays on your Vision Pro. You can keep running your shop while conversation is unavailable.
Privacy
